She appeared in a number of films that were successful in the 1990s and 2000s, such as Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore starred with Adam Sandler in three films The Wedding Singer, 50 First Dates and Blended. Other films she's starred in include Firestarter and Donnie Darko. She was also in her directorial debut film Whip It. Grey Gardens was her first film. She was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as an Golden Globe Award. She was the main character in Netflix's Santa Clarita Diet. She is currently hosting The Drew Barrymore Show, a syndicated talk-show.
