
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist presently affiliated with CNBC. She is anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk in the Street as well as 'Closing bell'. Although she's an Ohioan, she wasn't interested in markets or currencies in the college years. She interned at ForexTV.com as in school at New York University. Her first exposure working in business news during the experience. She went on to earn a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The course was four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. Then she came back to America and began working in New York at Bloomberg. She became a TV anchor eventually. In December 2013 she was hired by CNBC as the correspondent. She has served as co-anchor on 'Worldwide Exchange' and 'Power Lunch', and then landed the position on "Closing Bell' in the year 2018. Eisen has been co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. Her main area of focus since joining CNBC is global consumer news.
