Kristen Anne Bell, born 1980 in the United States of America, is an actress and singer. The actress was born in Huntington Woods and raised there. She's the daughter Lorelei Frygier and Tom Bell. Her parents are born in Polish heritage (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen developed a talent to perform on the age of a child. Her audition was in 1992 and was offered an appearance on Raggedy Ann, and Andy. Bell was signed by her mother to become an agent when she was only 13 years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and commercials on TV. She is now also taking individual acting classes. Bell was as a guest in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 as an uncredited actor. Bell attended Shrine Catholic High School, which was where she participated in drama and music club. The Wizard of Oz was staged by her high school and she won the role of Dorothy. Bell went to The Tisch School of the Arts in New York City, where she studied Musical Theatre in New York City. The year 2001 was the time Bell left university to portray the character of Becky on Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was the first to be credited with Pootie Tang (2001), but her scene was cut and her appearance exists only in the credits sequence. Bell was in the film with Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson as well as in The Crucible Broadway production of The Crucible in 2002.
