Robyn Rihanna Rihanna is the Barbadian Songwriter and Singer whose hit songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. Still in her prime, Rihanna has become one of the most well-known music artists. Barbados born, she began listening to reggae music as her age increased and began singing for herself as a teenager. Disturbed by their chaotic home life as well as conflicting with her parents, she immersed herself in music, and eventually realized that she wished to become a professional musician. As a teenager she joined a rock band. Evan Rodgers auditioned her and was extremely impressed. He requested for the teenager to relocate to New York and pursue a singing career full-time. Rihanna happily accepted. Rihanna was quickly a sensation after her debut album debuted on the market. She was a favorite amongst young people due to her lively, foot-tapping music. It led to her taking up directing. She is a young, skilled woman that has grown into a style icon and a popular teenager. Rihanna also puts her fame to good use, and has been active in many charities.
